Paris born Joan Peters

Opened her Gallery in the Village of the Arts of Bradenton in 2002

Since then it has become a favorite for Art lovers. ​ Joan , a lawyer by education was always interested in Art and Painting, she decided to pursue her passion when she moved to Florida. She loves to keep current in art trends and is always eager to improve her skills. She has taken many classes and workshops with Master Painters and incorporates their teachings in her art. ​ Currently, Joan particularly enjoys Plein Air painting which is the art of painting on location, braving the elements and capturing the essence of the scene. She enjoys the many parks and beaches that grace Southwest Florida. You might encounter her someday, along with some of her fellow painters as you visit our area.
